Hillcrest Private Hospital celebrates its 5th birthday.
In July this year Hillcrest Private Hospital celebrated its 5th birthday with much fanfare. The staff were treated to a fabulous, mouth-watering lunch compliments of management and with a lot of the original staff still around (some going so far back as to reminisce about the days before the doors even opened and the acceptable form of attire was a hardhat) to celebrate the momentous occasion, there were whispers of “My gosh, but time has flown”. And in deed it has. Not only has time flown but the hospital has grown. Not only has the hospital expanded to include a new wing and extended parking, but it’s recently been granted a licence for an additional 88 extra beds, with construction anticipated to start mid-2017. So, with lots of excitement on the horizon, here’s to the next 5 years.

KMPG Relay: 2016
Excitement was building as Hillcrest Private Hospital and Gateway Private Hospital looked forward to an exciting event of Saturday, 24th September with 7 running teams and 4 walking teams all fired up and ready to go. All the runners and walkers gathered at the start at Growth Point Kings Park Stadium and what was predicted to be a wet and cold afternoon turned out to be one a n exhilarating, awesome and thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. HPH1 runner team crossed the line as “leaders of the pack” in an all-time best position of 9th overall, mixed teams, but we’re proud to say that every single runner and walker put in an amazing effort to carry the “green machine” over the finish line but the best part of the afternoon was without doubt “Tasha’s lap”. The team, led by head-pusher & assisted by 7 very enthusiastic and loud learner-pushers, was set off by Sean Falconer with Natasha proudly wearing her HPH T-Shirt and multi-coloured tutu. All were welcomed back to the stadium with a standing ovation and cheers all around with Natasha enjoying every minute of her race and proudly receiving her finisher’s medal from the organisers. Here’s looking forward to a bigger, better and faster relay in 2017.
